Email Settings for Mail Applications

• Use these settings in common email apps.

  Incoming (IMAP - recommended)

  • Server: imap.mweb.co.za
  • Port: 993 (encryption enabled)
  • Username: full email address
  • Password: your email password

  Incoming (POP - optional)

  • Server: pop.mweb.co.za
  • Port: 995 (encryption enabled)
  • Username: full email address
  • Password: your email password

  Outgoing (SMTP)

  • Server: smtpauth.mweb.co.za
  • Port: 587
  • Authentication: Required (username and password)
  • Encryption: Enabled
• Outbound port 25 is blocked on the Mweb network. Always use SMTP 587.Choose IMAP if you use more than one device; choose POP only for single-device, local storage setups.
